Bento

Why I Make Bento for My Kids Every DayđŸ±

Every morning, I make bento lunch boxes for my children. Some days they are simple—just rice, a little meat or fish, and some vegetables. Other days, I add something fun or cute. But no matter what I pack, each bento is made with love.

There are a few good reasons why I do this. Making bento at home costs less than buying lunch every day. It also helps me make sure my kids eat healthy meals, with a good mix of nutrients.

But more than that, I make bento because I want to show my love.

Even though I can’t be with them at school, I hope they feel a little warmth when they open their lunch. I hope they know that their mom thought about them, made something with care, and wanted them to smile at lunchtime.

To me, bento is not just food—it’s a small way to say “I love you” every single day.
