Watching the sunrise in Amakusa, I was reminded of the Japanese concept Ichigo Ichie — the idea that every encounter happens only once in a lifetime.

This view, this light, this quiet moment by the sea…
Even if I return to the same place, I know I will never see this exact sunrise again.

That thought made the moment feel more precious, more alive.
