When I need motivation — real, get-things-done energy — I reach for coffee.
There’s something powerful about grinding beans, that deep aroma, the promise of a sharp, strong cup.
It gets my blood moving. It gives me focus.

But when I steep green tea... it’s the opposite.

There’s no rush. No buzz.
Just a quiet moment.
Boil. Breathe. Steep. Wait.
It feels less like making a drink — and more like a small act of meditation.
A few calm minutes just for myself, tucked inside a busy day.

In this fast, noisy world, we barely notice how long it's been since we last had real quiet.
Not the kind of quiet where your phone’s just on silent —
but the kind where your thoughts soften, and your breath slows down.

That’s what green tea gives me.

Not a caffeine jolt.
But space. Stillness. A moment of ā€œme.ā€
