Zen Moment

As I'm watching dramas and movies from the US on Netflix, it was surprising to see people talk about "Zen". Some people might think that we Japanese would think of "Zen" always, but we don't. We hardly use this word.

"Zen", as depicted in those films, is about concentrating on this moment as if it were the only thing that exists in the world. That is very impressive.

The word "Zen" was imported to the US from Japan then deepened in Amarican understanding, and now we Japanese would like to bring it back here in Japan again.

It does not have to be anything special.

How about having nice a cup of tea to get away from busy days☕

It certainly allows us "Zen" moment.
